Welcome to WAGYU SHOGUN. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, reservation system, and dining services provided by WAGYU SHOGUN LTD (“WAGYU SHOGUN”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing our website, making a reservation, or dining with us, you agree to comply with these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Reservations
Reservations are accepted for 1–10 guests and must generally be made at least 24 hours in advance through our online booking system.
Due to limited seating and the operational structure of our restaurant, reservations cannot be made by phone unless specifically arranged by management.
Your reservation is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from our booking system.
We reserve the right to decline, modify, or cancel reservations where necessary for operational, safety, or service reasons.
3. Late Arrival, Cancellation and No-Show Policy
As seating is limited, timely arrival is important.
Late arrivals may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation, especially during peak trading periods.
Cancellations or booking changes cannot be accepted within 24 hours of the reserved booking time unless otherwise approved by management.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in future booking restrictions.
WAGYU SHOGUN reserves the right to introduce reservation deposits and/or no-show fees in the future for selected bookings, special events, peak periods, or repeated booking abuse.
Such fees or deposit requirements will be clearly communicated at the time of booking where applicable.
4. Seating and Dining Time
Due to our small restaurant size and high-demand service periods, seating time may be limited during peak hours.
Standard dining time may be limited to approximately 60 minutes during busy periods to allow fair access for all guests.
Large groups may be subject to specific seating arrangements depending on availability.
Strollers may not be accommodated due to limited space and safety considerations.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
5. Ordering and Payment
WAGYU SHOGUN operates as a fully cashless restaurant.
Orders are placed through our self-ordering kiosk system and payment must be completed electronically using accepted payment methods.
Cash payments are not accepted.
Guests are responsible for reviewing their order details before completing payment.
We reserve the right to update menu pricing, availability, and payment methods without prior notice.
6. Public Holiday Surcharge
A 15% surcharge may apply on New Zealand public holidays.
This surcharge helps cover additional operational and staffing costs associated with public holiday trading.
Applicable surcharge information will be displayed in-store and/or during the booking process where relevant.
7. Alcohol and BYO Policy
WAGYU SHOGUN currently does not hold an alcohol licence.
Alcohol is not served on the premises.
BYO (Bring Your Own Alcohol) is not permitted unless specifically approved in writing by management for a private or special event.
Guests are asked to respect this policy at all times.
8. Food Allergies and Dietary Requests
We do our best to accommodate dietary requirements and special requests where possible, including gluten-free requests.
However, as our kitchen handles a variety of ingredients including meat, soy, gluten, seafood, dairy, and other allergens, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Customers with severe allergies must notify our team before ordering and accept that dining is at their own discretion and risk.
WAGYU SHOGUN is not liable for allergic reactions where reasonable care has been taken.
9. Gift Vouchers, Promotions and Campaigns
Promotional offers, vouchers, campaign benefits, and giveaway codes are subject to their own specific terms, validity periods, and usage conditions.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel promotions at any time without prior notice where necessary.
Fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorised use of vouchers or promotions may result in cancellation without compensation.
